Challenger Deck
Second Sun Control is the white and blue member of the debut Challenger Deck lineup for Magic: The Gathering. Its game plan is patient. Censor and Supreme Will stop the spells that matter, Fumigate and Settle the Wreckage reset the battlefield, Glimmer of Genius keeps your hand full, and three copies of Approach of the Second Sun close things out once you cast it a second time. Kefnet the Mindful gives the list another way to win.
Alongside the main list of sixty you get fifteen extra cards for game two, plus a life counting spindown, a sheet that explains the rules, and a deck box sized to fit everything sleeved. Irrigated Farmland and Field of Ruin anchor the mana, and the cards come from the Kaladesh, Amonkhet and Ixalan era of Standard.
Suited to control players who like long, careful games, and to anyone collecting every deck from the opening Challenger wave.
