Booster Pack
One Core Set 2020 booster pack (M20) in English. Of its 15 cards, ten are commons and three uncommons; add a single rare that may be a mythic, plus a land, which is sometimes a lifegain dual land rather than a basic. A token or marketing card comes along as well.
Core sets are built to be approachable, and this one has no brand new mechanics to learn. The story thread is Chandra Nalaar, who appears on three planeswalkers covering different points in her life. Elementals run through several colours, leylines come back, and some cards are designed to punish a specific opposing colour.
Foils show up at one card in 45, and this set was the first with full-art tokens. A handful of packs is a relaxed way to draft with friends, while chase cards such as Field of the Dead and Veil of Summer keep the pack interesting for collectors.
