Scene Box
Villains Unleashed is one of two Scene Boxes made for Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes, and it hands the spotlight to the other side of the fight. Kieran Yanner painted one wide illustration of Marvel's Super Villains and divided it over six borderless scene cards, each in traditional foil. Lay them side by side and the panorama joins up; shuffle them into a deck and each one plays as a regular card with full rules text.
Six matching art cards carry the same picture without game text, and a paper easel lets you stand the finished scene on a shelf or next to the play area. Three Play Boosters from the main set round out the box, so there are fresh packs to open too.
Wizards names Thanos and Ultron among the faces on show, and the retail blurb has Doctor Doom's crew stirring up trouble. A good pick for collectors who side with the villains, or as the partner piece to the Heroes United box.
