Blitz Deck
Monarchen
Boltyn leads the armies of Solana in the Monarch set, and this Blitz Deck plays him as a Light Warrior who charges his soul and then cashes it in for a bright, explosive turn. Warriors shine when the defender blocks, and Boltyn's game rewards you for forcing those engagements with his paired hatchets.
Inside is the Boltyn hero card with Hatchet of Body and Hatchet of Mind, Gallantry Gold, Halo of Illumination, Snapdragon Scalers and Spell Fray Cloak. The 40 card deck includes his Mentor, Minerva Themis, along with Bolt of Courage, Express Lightning, Engulfing Light, Rising Solartide, Take Flight and Courageous Steelhand.
Monarch was the set that set Light against Shadow, and Boltyn is the straightforward Light attacker of its four Blitz heroes. He is a sound first deck for a player who likes weapons, clear decisions and one big turn to finish the game, and he plays directly against Chane, Levia and Prism.
