2-Player Starter Set
Originsen
Proving Grounds is the boxed starter for Riftbound, Riot's League of Legends card game, released next to its first set, Origins. Inside are four preconstructed decks, each built around a well known champion: Annie, Master Yi, Lux and Garen. The decks are tuned to be evenly matched, so new players can open the box and learn the rules without building anything first.
The set is made for two to four players. Two people can play a straight duel, while three or four can try alliances or a free for all. Each champion also comes as an acrylic figure with two faces, a cheerful one for when you lead and a sulky one for when you are behind.
A guided first game walks beginners through turns and combat, and suggested upgrades point to Origins boosters that help a starter deck grow into something stronger. It suits League fans trying a card game for the first time, families, and anyone teaching friends.
