Blitz Deck
Riptide is the trapper of the Pits, a Ranger who hunts in flooded tunnels from his workshop on the Seetheside docks, and his Outsiders Blitz Deck plays exactly like that. Instead of racing, you build a field of hazards and wait for your opponent to step into one.
The heart of the deck is its traps. Pendulum Trap, Tarpit Trap, Boulder Trap, Frailty Trap and Inertia Trap punish attacks that are not defended the way you want, while arrows such as Searing Shot and Withering Shot fired from Barbed Castaway spread rot and weakness across the board. Murkmire Grapnel and Increase the Tension help squeeze the last points of life out.
Riptide's hero card comes packed with Barbed Castaway, Driftwood Quiver and the rest of his kit, the matching tokens, and the forty playable cards. The deck rewards players who like control and reading an opponent, and it rounds out the Outsiders Ranger pair alongside Azalea.
