Secret Lair
Foil fans of Jund get four cards from that savage shard in Sam Burley's Artist Series. The dragon Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund heads the set, with the planeswalker Koth of the Hammer, the enchantment Braid of Fire and Master of the Wild Hunt rounding it out.
Burley himself picked the cards, and Braid of Fire was at the top of his list as a longtime mono red player. As traditional foils, his fiery skies and rocky vistas gain a bright metallic glow, a strong look for a commander on the table or a framed group of four. The cards keep their usual rules, so they slot straight into a dragon or Jund deck.
Along with the four, the drop holds one bonus card: a sketch Braid of Fire, which on first look comes very close to the final art.
The Sam Burley drop was part of the Winter Superdrop and suits collectors of landscape art as much as Commander players.
