Sam Burley's Artist Series is a trip to Jund, the shard of dragons and volcanoes from the Alara block. Burley, whose Magic art first appeared in Avacyn Restored, selected and painted four cards from that red, green and black world: Braid of Fire, Koth of the Hammer, Master of the Wild Hunt and Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund.
This is the non-foil edition. His wide, atmospheric landscapes read well on plain card stock, and the four make a neat package for a Jund or dragon themed Commander deck, with Karrthus as an obvious choice of commander.
Packed with it is a sketch Braid of Fire as the bonus card. MTG Wiki notes that this digital sketch looks close to the finished painting at first glance.
Burley's drop was released in the Winter Superdrop.
