Secret Lair
When asked to do an Artist Series, Sidharth Chaturvedi wanted his four cards to tell a story, and he helped write the flavor text to carry it. Across Nomad Outpost, Concordant Crossroads, Ghost Quarter and an Island, the four scenes follow travellers through loss, hardship and finally success, with new lines on three of the cards.
This is the non-foil version. His sweeping, quiet landscapes look at home on regular stock and drop easily into a deck: Nomad Outpost fixes Mardu mana, Ghost Quarter answers problem lands, and Concordant Crossroads speeds up creature heavy Commander tables.
A bonus card comes inside, the sketch version of Ghost Quarter.
Chaturvedi's set came out in the April Superdrop, next to the Magali Villeneuve and Wayne Reynolds Artist Series. A calm, story driven set for land lovers and fans of painted scenery.
