Secret Lair
Volkan Baga's Artist Series made a small piece of history: these were the first English language Magic cards with flavor text written entirely in German, Baga's native language. His four choices are Elspeth, Knight-Errant, Patron Wizard, Berserk and Verduran Enchantress, and with them his Magic portfolio passed 200 pieces.
The Patron Wizard art is a tribute to Donato Giancola, the card's original artist and Baga's teacher, who appears in the painting. Berserk, a card from the very first Magic era, gets a fresh classical look.
This listing is non-foil, ideal for showing off Baga's realistic oil painting style without glare and for sleeving up in Commander.
The drop includes a bonus card, the sketch version of Elspeth, Knight-Errant. It was part of the June Superdrop together with the Chris Rahn and Livia Prima drops.
Sealed en product. Price includes VAT (21% or margin scheme — your invoice states which); delivery dates are estimates. We ship across the EU.
