Secret Lair
In the series, the Ember Island Players stage a play about Aang and his friends that gets nearly everything wrong. Secret Lair x Avatar: The Last Airbender: The Ember Island Players brings that theatre night to Magic: The Gathering with five borderless cards in a regular non-foil finish.
The star is Phantasmal Image, renamed Absolutely Accurate Actor, a fitting choice for a creature that copies another and is never quite the real thing. Braid of Fire, Cursed Mirror and Mask of Memory cover the costumes and the pyrotechnics, while Thespian's Stage gives the troupe a home.
The joke runs through every card: overacted heroes, wrong casting and a story the Gaang barely recognises. It is a light hearted drop with real playables, as Phantasmal Image and Thespian's Stage both see use in Commander and older formats. A good pick for fans who remember the episode and want the parody in their deck.
