Secret Lair Avatar The Last Airbender: My Cabbages! pays tribute to the Cabbage Merchant, the unlucky trader whose cart is wrecked every time Aang and his friends pass by. This Magic: The Gathering drop holds five borderless cards in the regular non-foil finish.
Every pick is a way to destroy something, which is exactly what happens to his produce. Chain of Vapor bounces it away, Meltdown melts it, Nature's Claim lets the plants take it back, and Anguished Unmaking and Putrefy finish the job in black. The art shows the cabbages meeting fire, stone and plain bad luck across the Four Nations.
It is the comedy entry of the Avatar Superdrop, but the cards are honest removal spells that see play in Commander and beyond. Anguished Unmaking and Putrefy in particular show up in many black based decks. Fans who still shout the line at the screen will want this one.
