Secret Lair
This is the foil printing of Math Is for Blockers, a Secret Lair with a numbers game baked into it. Read the power and toughness of its five creatures from left to right and they spell 3.141592653, the first ten digits of pi. Alexandre Chaudret drew every card, shaping each creature out of circles, triangles and clean geometric planes.
Inside sit foil copies of Brazen Borrower, Vindictive Lich, Meandering Towershell, Ohran Frostfang and Thragtusk. For Vindictive Lich this was the first time the card appeared in foil at all. Every box adds a hidden extra: Wrexial, the Risen Deep in foil with new art, which extends the pi sequence by two digits, or occasionally a Blueprint card.
The foil edition appeals to players who want a premium Brazen Borrower or Thragtusk for Commander and Modern era decks, and to collectors who like a drop with a puzzle built into its design.
