Secret Lair
The foil Outlaw Anthology Vol. 1: Rebellious Renegades gives four of Magic's biggest bad guys a Wild West makeover. Every card wears a distressed pulp magazine cover look, the kind of lurid frontier story you would have found on a newsstand, and every one is a collaboration between a featured artist and Scott Okumura.
The lineup is Tezzeret the Seeker, Griselbrand, Grenzo, Havoc Raiser and Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker, all borderless and all in rainbow foil for this edition. A surprise bonus card also comes in the box.
Griselbrand remains a heavy hitter in Commander and older formats, while Grenzo and Nicol Bolas make strong legends to build around. Tied to the Outlaws of Thunder Junction release and paired with a second volume, this foil drop fits players who want a flashy version of these legends and collectors who like their Secret Lairs with a story theme.
