Secret Lair
Pictures of the Floating World gathers the five hideaway lands from Lorwyn and repaints them in the manner of ukiyo-e, the Japanese woodblock prints whose name means exactly that: pictures of the floating world. You are looking at the foil edition of this Magic: The Gathering Secret Lair.
Each land has its own Japanese illustrator. Windbrisk Heights is by Tomohito, Shelldock Isle by Amayagido, Howltooth Hollow by Shie Nanahara, Spinerock Knoll by Nagano and Mosswort Bridge by Maiko Aoji. Unusually for Secret Lair, the cards are printed in Japanese only, which suits the theme. They keep a black border, and a surprise bonus card is tucked into the box as well.
Hideaway lands show up in Commander decks of every colour, so the set doubles as a playable land upgrade for anyone who enjoys traditional Japanese art, and Japanese text, on the table.
Sealed ja product. Price includes VAT (21% or margin scheme — your invoice states which); delivery dates are estimates. We ship across the EU.
