Secret Lair Wizards of the Street (foil)

Portland street artist Martin Ontiveros painted Wizards of the Street, a Magic: The Gathering Secret Lair offered in this listing as the foil edition. Working as Martinhead Rocks, he shows four spellcasters going about an ordinary day in a bright style built on geometric patterns and near symmetrical compositions.

The four borderless foils are Baral, Chief of Compliance, Spellseeker, Magus of the Wheel and Kess, Dissident Mage, each with new flavor text. Three of them are wizards that fit naturally into spell heavy decks, from Baral cutting costs and looting to Spellseeker tutoring a cheap instant or sorcery, while Magus of the Wheel adds a red wheel effect on a body.

A surprise bonus card comes in the box as well. The drop arrived in the December Superdrop and is aimed at Commander players running Izzet or Grixis spellslinger decks, and at collectors of street art styled cards.
