Collector Booster Display
The Magic: The Gathering | The Hobbit Collector Booster Box holds twelve sealed Collector Boosters and a Box Topper on top: one card of Middle-earth art by a classic artist, in traditional foil. It is the format for opening Collector packs in volume, whether you are hunting a particular treatment or want a sealed display for the shelf.
Every pack contains 15 cards with five rare or higher, mostly in foil, and up to two surge foils. Inside you can find Dragon hoard frame and book cover cards, Dwarvish language mythics that appear only in Collector Boosters, extended-art rares and the HOC extended-art mythics. Collectors hunt above all for a gold Smaug the Magnificent headliner, with only about 500 printed.
Collectors, Commander players upgrading a Middle-earth deck to foil and anyone following the trail of Smaug's treasure will find twelve packs gives a far better spread of the set's treatments than single boosters.
