Expansion
Board Games2–4 playersen
Expansion for Azul — requires the base game.
Crystal Mosaic is an add-on for Azul that improves the table and changes your wall. The headline piece is a set of four clear plastic overlays that sit on the player boards, with recesses that hold every tile in place, so a nudge of the table no longer scatters a carefully built round.
It also brings double-sided player boards with new designs. Each side gives the familiar drafting a different puzzle, with fresh strategic options to weigh against the coloured and grey boards from the original box.
Everything else about Azul stays the same: drafting from the factories, filling pattern lines and dodging the floor line. That makes it an easy upgrade for groups who already play often and want both sturdier boards and new goals.
You need the Azul base game to play. Designed by Michael Kiesling, it keeps the 2 to 4 player count, is rated for ages 10 and up and runs about 30 to 45 minutes.
