Expansion for Exploding Kittens — requires the base game.
Expansion number three for Exploding Kittens, Barking Kittens adds 20 cards built around a nervy game of chicken. Two of the new cards are Barking Kittens. If you hold one and suspect a rival holds the other, play yours and see whether they explode; guess wrong and you have just painted a target on yourself.
The box also includes a wearable Cat Crown. Cards tucked into it sit on your head, out of sight of everyone, until you choose to drop them back into the draw pile, which opens up some pleasingly devious timing.
Every card carries Matthew Inman's art for The Oatmeal, and a fresh instruction sheet is included. This pack is not a standalone game and requires an English copy of Exploding Kittens. Expect 2 to 5 players, a 7+ rating and games of about 15 minutes. It is an easy way to shake up a group that knows the core deck too well.
