Expansion
Board Games1–4 playersen
Expansion for Harmonies — requires the base game.
Pulse is the first mini expansion for Harmonies: ten new Animal cards that ask more of your landscape. For the first time the habitat patterns use three colours, so meeting an animal's needs takes more planning and better anticipation of where each token will go.
It also adds a small rule that the publisher highlights. When you build a pattern you may now mirror it as well as rotate it, which matters for several of the trickier new cards and leaves the base game cards unaffected.
The basic flow of Harmonies does not change. You still draft tokens, raise terrain and settle animals, but the harder cards bring extra scoring chances for players willing to take them on. Shuffle them into the animal deck and play as normal; a reminder card and a multilingual rulebook come in the pack.
You need the Harmonies base game. Solo or with up to four, from age 10, games take 30 to 45 minutes.
