Card Game
Board Games2–5 playersen
In Forest Shuffle, designed by Kosch for Lookout Games, each player grows a woodland and fills it with life. Cards show either a tree of one of eight species or two forest dwellers, split down the middle or across, so one card can hold two different creatures. You pay for cards by discarding others into the shared clearing, then slot dwellers under the top, bottom, left or right side of your trees. Many cards trigger an effect or a bonus when paid for with matching colours.
Scoring rewards the right neighbours: some animals want company of their own kind, others prefer particular trees. Three winter cards wait in the lowest third of the pile, and the game stops the moment the third appears.
The box holds 180 cards, a board, a scoring pad and the rules, printed on FSC certified material without plastic. Two to five players aged 10 or older can finish a game in about an hour.
