Expansion
Board Games3–6 playersen
Expansion for Dixit — requires the base game.
Anniversary marks ten years of Dixit by bringing the whole family of artists back together. Every illustrator from the earlier expansions returned to paint for this ninth pack, each contributing around ten cards, and the 84 images draw on tales and myths from around the world. The mix of hands is the point: contrasting styles sit side by side, so a single round can lay very different pictures next to each other.
That variety is useful at the table. Clues that rely on mood get harder, while clues built on story or symbol suddenly have more room to work.
Replace the cards from your base game with this set or mix the two together, as Libellud suggests. Your base box supplies the board, the voting system and the rules, and the first player to 30 points still wins. Suitable from age 8, for 3 to 6 storytellers.
