Expansion
Board Games3–6 playersen
Expansion for Dixit — requires the base game.
Mirrors, the tenth Dixit expansion, is illustrated by Sébastien Telleschi in bright, vivid colour. Its theme is reflection: the 84 cards hold up a fantastical mirror to everyday society, and Libellud describes the pictures as dreamlike reflections of daily life. That gives storytellers a different set of hooks rooted in the familiar.
Use the cards together with your Dixit base game, Dixit Odyssey or earlier expansions, or as a full replacement for the deck you already have. The pack contains cards only, so a copy of the base game is needed for the board, voting tokens and rules.
Rounds are unchanged and quick. The storyteller says something, the others add a card that might fit, and everybody votes. Recommended for ages 8 and up, Mirrors keeps a game of three to six players to about 30 minutes, which makes it an easy pack to bring out at the end of an evening.
