Expansion
Board Games3–6 playersen
Expansion for Dixit — requires the base game.
Origins, also known as Dixit 4, hands the brush to Clément Lefèvre. His 84 cards visit uncanny places full of playful creatures and odd characters, with the surreal, slightly impossible feel that keeps Dixit clues interesting. The theme Libellud gives the pack is the birth of fantastic worlds, so expect scenes that look like the first page of a fairy tale nobody has written yet.
Like the other packs it holds cards only. Add them to your existing deck for more variety, or use them by themselves for a fresh hand; either way the board, voting tokens and rules come from your Dixit base game or Dixit Journey, which you need to play.
For groups that have played the starter deck to death, a new artist matters more than new rules: the same picture can trigger completely different stories around different tables. Origins is recommended for ages 8 and up and keeps the usual quick rounds of clue, decoy and vote.
