Expansion
Board Games3–6 playersen
Expansion for Dixit — requires the base game.
Franck Dion drew every card in Daydreams, the fifth pack for Dixit, around the idea of waking dreams. Scenes that sit between sleep and wakefulness are exactly what a storyteller wants when hunting for a clue only some players will catch.
Inside are 84 new picture cards. They are made to expand a Dixit base game, and can be adapted for play on their own if you provide your own way of scoring. Most groups simply shuffle them into the deck so every hand offers a mix of familiar and new art.
The game itself does not change. One player gives a word or phrase, the others pass in a card that could pass for theirs, and everyone votes. With the base box, Daydreams plays 3 to 6 people from age 8, and a round takes only a couple of minutes.
